Emperors Mind have now closed, although we are still proud of the website that we built for them. Emperors Mind was a premium Apple Reseller with offices in Melbourne and Sydney.

We built a Rails website that talked directly to Emperors Mind’s SAP database.
Meaning that clients where able to see the exact status of all their purchase orders and service calls via the website. Since some users had a lot of data, we integrated Apache Solr into the client portal to perform search.
Emperors Mind frequently held events1 to launch new hardware or software. The website was able to help Emperors Mind organise these events by providing a “one click to RSVP”. Clients could also download a iCal file, so that so that the event could be easily added to their diaries.
We also built a store for Emperors Mind.
